Chemical Peels

• PCA 6% Pure Retinol Peel: This powerful peel, formulated for normal to resilient skin, lifts and reduces discoloration, while smoothing, strengthening, and brightening the skin. Moderate to aggressive exfoliation will be experienced depending on skin type.

• PCA Peels: These light to medium strength peels will exfoliate, lighten, help reduce breakouts, control oil, minimize fine lines and smoothe the skin. The strength of the peel increases based on the number of layers applied.

• MicroPeel: The Micropeel is a process that uses lactic or glycolic acid to remove a micro-thin top layer of skin. It is excellent for all skin types that need exfoliation.

• Vitalize Peel: The Vitalize Peel from SkinMedica is a unique formulation of alpha-hydroxy acid, beta-hydroxy acid, resorcinol and retinoic acid, that provide a consistent and safe peel with minimal downtime. Improves hyperpigmentation, acne, skin texture, fine lines and wrinkles.

• Rejuvenize Peel: The Rejuvenize Peel from SkinMedica is a step up from the Vitalize Peel. Its advanced formulation of peeling agents, salicylic acid, lactic acid, resorcinol, and retinoic acid, reveal fresher and healthier skin. Laser Treatment Options

• elos Plus Laser: The elos Plus laser is effective, gentle and safe for hair removal, treatment of pigmented lesions /brown spots, and facial veins and redness. It uses two different energy sources, light and radiofrequency, which in conjunction makes the treatment more comfortable for patients and safer for a variety of skin types.

• PCA Gentlemen's Facial: This treatment is designed for the male patients working to treat oily, blemished or acne prone skin. It is also effective in treating aging, pigment disorders, and smoker's skin leaving you with healthy skin and more youthful appearance.

• DiamondTome™: This unique tool removes the superficial layer of skin by gently exfoliating the skin using natural diamond chips, while at the same time vacuuming the dead skin cells away. It is non-invasive, non-surgical and is considered an alternative to laser or chemical peels.

• MegaPeel® Microdermabrasion: This skin resurfacing treatment uses vacuum pressure crystals to gently resurface the superficial layers of the skin. MegaPeel is an alternative to chemical or laser peels. Excellent for all skin types that need exfoliation.

• Chemabrasion: Get the advantage of a chemical peel and microdermabrasion combined for more dramatic results. Works to treat fine lines, acne, pigment problems, and overall texture.

• Oxygen Treatment: The oxygen treatment can be used on any skin type. The germicidal action makes it extremely beneficial for acne, rosacea, and sun-damaged skin. Microneedling

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally-invasive skin rejuvenation procedure that helps minimize the signs of aging, improve the appearance of acne scars, reduce large pores and uneven skin texture, and overall rejuvenate the skin.We perform microneedling with SkinPen, a medical-grade, state-of-the-art microneedling tool available only through medical professionals. Microneedling results in skin remodeling and affects the process of collagen and elastin formation, the two proteins predominantly responsible for the structure of the skin. The outcome is beautiful, youthful looking skin. Our SkinPen Microneedling package includes three treatments and take home products. We recommend treatments done four to six weeks apart.

Sublative RF Skin Rejuvenation

Sublative Radio Frequency (RF) enables you to achieve a more youthful appearance. The RF energy is precisely directed into the skin in the form of a matrix. Healthy skin around the treated area accelerates the healing process of the skin. Post-treatment, new collagen and healthy skin cells are produced. Mild to moderate wrinkles and superficial imperfections of your skin are reduced. It can also improve textural irregularities from acne scaring.

Typical treatment protocol is three treatments, four to six weeks apart. The total number of required treatment sessions depends on your skin’s condition. Sublative RF can be used on the face, neck, and chest area.

Prescription Skin Treatments

Dr. McCafferty offers the following FDA-approved aesthetic prescription treatments:

• LATISSE Treatment for Eyelash Hypotrichosis: Eyelash hypotrichosis is the term used to describe inadequate or not enough eyelashes. For patients concerned about the length, thickness and darkness of their eyelashes, Dr. McCafferty now offers LATISSE, the only FDA-approved prescription treatment for hypotrichosis. This 0.03% bimatoprost opthalmic solution is designed to grow eyelashes longer, thicker and make them more noticeable.

• ZO Medical Melamin and Melamix 4% Hydroquinone: These skin lighteners, available by prescription through Dr. McCafferty, are designed to help even color tone by inhibiting melanin production. Used to treat freckles, Melasma, and sun damage, Melamin and Melamix contain Hydroquinone USP 4%.

• Tretinoin Cream: Tretinoin (Retin-A) belongs to a class of medications called retinoids. It works by affecting the growth of skin cells. It can be used to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, plus help with collagen repair. It can also be used to treat acne, by decreasing the number and severity of acne pimples and promote quick healing.
