Did you know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month? Regular mammograms are important for women who are aged 40 and over, with or without breast augmentation. And for women beginning in their 20s, monthly self-exams are a great way to catch and detect any changes in the breast tissue. Early discovery is key! So how can you start performing self-exams at home? The American Cancer Society has a helpful how-to here: American Cancer Society Breast Self Exam Stay healthy. A few minutes self-exam may help save a life.
